Stalling a couple seconds when cruising???

Hey guys I have another question but this one is about a possible problem or maybe just a normal factor on gsr's or vtecs in general. Sometimes while driving my car for instance when I am in 1st or 2nd gear and just going in normal driving fassion (driving miss daisy mode) when I come around between 3k-4500 rpms I sometimes just gas the bitch to about 3/4 of the pedal I get a quick stall where my foot is on the pedal but the car doesnt respond for maybe a second or two and then immediately realizes I have my foot down and decides to go but thats only whn cruising but when I max out from 1st on I dont have the problem? what gives? did this explanation make sense? By the way I forgot to mention its not a constant occurrence , just once every so often, My car is a 99 gsr with 15k miles.Lates

I have that problem too. I think it might a problem with having too much fuel at times. Other people have experienced this but no one has really figured out what it is. It's frickin' annoying but I haven't really seen anything bad happen to my car yet...then again, I haven't looked INSIDE the engine and other parts.

I have a tad over 60k miles on my car...35k of which are hard driven SC'd miles. I must say, I'm quite impressed with how well my car has held up so far. BTW, I'm not familiar with that ebonics term at the end of your message. Could you translate that perhaps?

IF anyone comes to a conclusion please email me direct; I have the same thing on my 99 GSR with 17K. ( 12K with the JR) Mine happens when I m cuising on I95 with the cruise on then I try to gas it to pass a car, the A/F goes lean for like 2 or 3 seconds the goes to rich.

NOTE: JR has replaced the FMU and the fuel pump and it still does it! However, the new fuel pump makes a loud humming noise if I drive it more than 30 miles at a time. I think They SUCK!!!!

SSG I have that problem with 15k on my car but NO charger ..yet.. so the problem that is occurring with you and I both and others (if you want to call it a problem may well be related to the car not charger.
